Perth City Rail Link Official Opening on the 19th of December

Perth City Link, formerly known as the Northbridge Link, is a collaborative project funded by three tiers of Government and led by the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) and the Public Transport Authority (PTA).
The PTA’s $609 million transport infrastructure work at and around Perth Station is the catalyst to bring Perth City Link’s vision to life. This new development will link the train station to the bus terminal with an underground subway for ease of access to the transport hubs.
Moeding terracotta tiles were specified for the station’s internal walls, escalator elevations and stair area due to their hard wearing, maintenance free and aesthetically pleasing appearance. The white glazed Alphaton and green glazed Longoton tiles were chosen to match the colours of the Western Australian transport services and achieve a sense of consistency.
The official opening of the Perth City Rail Link will be held on the 19th of December by the Minister of Transport.
SGI is very proud to have been involved and in association with such a landmark project.
